About Us
The Personal AI Architecture is an open source project by Dave Waring and Dave Jones, co-founders of BrainDrive — a personal AI platform for individuals who want to own their AI system.
Why We're Doing This
We're on a mission to build a superior user-owned alternative to Big Tech AI systems so the power of AI belongs not to a small number of Big Tech companies, but to the people.
We believe accomplishing this mission will require more than any one company can do alone.
For this reason we are open sourcing the Personal AI Architecture, the foundation we are building the BrainDrive Personal AI system on top of.
The Architecture is designed to create a future where there are no AI system users, only owners.
If this vision succeeds there will be more than enough opportunity for BrainDrive and any other company that wants to offer services to AI system owners.
We'll be sharing our learnings as we move towards implementing BrainDrive on top of this foundation, and hope others will do the same.
